Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Teen & Young Adults, Northbrook IL

KGH Consultation & Treatment Inc. is a designated Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, and certified Great Place to Work®!  Our innovative, multi-disciplinary team provides comprehensive services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related learning, behavior and/or social difficulties ranging from infancy through young adulthood.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will provide evidence-based services that meet KGH standards.


Essential responsibilities:

Program Development

  • Conduct trainings and presentations (on-site and off-site) to promote awareness and disseminate information regarding ASD and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Provide written articles, research summaries, etc., to disseminate important information
    Conduct professional development trainings for staff
  • Support and coordinate the operations for program development needs
  • Promote high level of professional and ethical standards
  • Complete other job related duties and special assignments as directed

Consultation and Supervision

  • Conduct training workshops for families and/or schools
  • Conduct routine fidelity checks on RBT’s of consulting caseload
  • Review notebook, analyze data, observe program implementation and make necessary changes in client’s treatment program
  • Discuss observations/concerns of care providers
  • Revise client’s curriculum
  • Participate and consult during school meetings
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents in order to share information and expertise to plan and implement best practice intervention programs to clients
  • Actively train and provide on-going support to parents and caregivers
  • Complete other job related duties and special assignments as directed.


  • Conduct appropriate behavioral, developmental, and functional-based assessments
  • Develop, oversee, and implement client’s Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)
  • Develop, oversee, and implement client’s Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP)
  • Perform a range of evidence-based intervention methods
  • Design programs and develop strategies in order to accomplish the goals and objectives from the client’s ITP
  • Develop, oversee and implement social groups
    Collect, maintain and evaluate data on each client’s progress
  • Observe and record client’s behaviors
  • Monitor client’s behaviors and progress
  • Maintain effective communicate with supervisory staff
  • Help cover treatment sessions, when needed
  • Complete other job related duties and special assignments as directed


  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field
  • Current BCBA certificate, in good standing
  • Licensed BCBA, if applicable
  • Completion of 8 hours of supervisor training (or pending completion)
  • Functional understanding of advanced ABA principles


  • Certificate in Professional Crisis Management (PCM)
  • Certificate in First Aid and CPR Training
